Dr. Ravi Mohan Tiwari is a forest ecologist and biodiversity conservation scientist specializing in forest structure, functional diversity, and ecosystem dynamics across subalpine, temperate, and subtropical forests. He earned his Ph.D. in Forest Ecology from Hokkaido University, Japan, and has conducted research in Nepal, Japan, Poland, and China.
Currently serving as Chairman of the Innovative Research and Studies Center (IRSC), Dr. Tiwari has led and contributed to numerous national and international projects on climate change, forest ecology, and sustainable natural resource management. His work focuses on advancing ecological knowledge, promoting nature-based climate solutions, and linking science with policy for conservation and sustainable development.
